New Change in Etisalat NG. (Rebranding)

Nigeria Telecommunication giant had a set back owing to it inability to meet up with its debts. News revealed Etisalat owned at least Nine Banks huge sum of money, another issue was when the parent company, Arab owned Etisalat decided to ditch the firm and also made it known to Etisalat Nigeria to stop using it brand.
Well, this week news revealed Etisalat Nigeria finally changes it name to 9mobile ( The reason for using 9 might be because it is now own by 9banks.) This makes Etisalat NG the second popular Telecommunication company after Airtel to have gone through renaming and change of brand.( Airtel for instance as gone through a lot of change of name and rebranding, old names of Airtel include Econet, Vmobile, Celtel.)

Owing to the change of Brand, unlike Airtel,  9mobile formally known as Etisalat is now own by banks, Nine banks for that matter. As it is known, banks are after recouping their money and also making profit, this means the new management will have to bring up ideas on how to increase tarrifs so as to be able to pay up the firm's debt.
There will be a lot of expenses, as 9mobile will have to change everything own by Etisalat to it new name, it will also have to create a new website.

The acquisition might also bring about reduction in staff so as to minimize cost, this means lay off is on the way.

What most people now fear is will 9mobile be able to meet up with the standard service laid down by Etisalat NG? Will it be able to stand the test of Time? Because in the case of Airtel, every time it had a change of name,it service changed and went on like that. We hope in the coming days we wouldn't hear 9mobile changes name.
Wishing the new 9mobile management well as they venture into the corporate world.
